At the heart of her work is a quiet belief in restoration—the idea that healing is possible, growth is within reach, and every life holds the potential to begin again.

Wife, Mother, Academic, Counselor
Harvia Gray is a seasoned mental health professional with more than 25 years of dedicated service as a counsellor, educator, and advocate. With a career that spans across diverse communities, from urban centres like Toronto to remote Indigenous communities in Manitoba, Harvia has worked with individuals and families from all walks of life, offering guidance, support, and a path forward.
A graduate of Tyndale University with a Master of Divinity in Counselling, Harvia brings a unique blend of clinical training and spiritual insight to her work. Her approach is grounded, compassionate, and practical. She has supported adults, youth, and children through complex challenges such as addiction, anxiety, trauma, and family conflict, always with the goal of helping people rediscover their worth, rebuild relationships, and move toward their potential.
Harvia has served in key roles at institutions like Seneca College, where she provided over 1,000 hours of academic and personal counselling, and Garden Hill First Nations High School, where she developed culturally responsive supports for youth. As Principal Counsellor at Higher Marks Educational Institute, she integrated biopsychosocial assessments, cognitive behavioural therapy, and goal driven interventions to support mental wellness and personal transformation.
Beyond her clinical work, Harvia is a skilled communicator, respected team leader, and thoughtful program developer. She is known for her deep empathy, her ability to listen without judgment, and her gift for building trust and connection. Her extensive background in sociological research and program administration makes her equally comfortable in a counselling room or a leadership boardroom.
At the heart of it all, Harvia is someone who truly cares. She believes in the power of people to heal, grow, and reclaim their lives, and she has spent a lifetime helping them do just that.
